Where exactly is Brooks? Do they require a 6-month or yearly lease or is it pay as you go? Any electrical outlets for a battery charger?

Any cheap, safe place near Cox Park?

Keep me posted then. I've been thinking about keeping the green monster up here to try and duck hunt on the river. I've heard that the hunting isn't too bad around Louisville. Also, the Aries is sold as of yesterday! Looking to have a nice Ranger by this time next year, or maybe a Fountain speed boat. Tough call isn't it?! Fish tournaments and cash checks or cruise the lake with lots of chicks!

Dude that's a no brainer! Fish can't talk! I hope your jokin or I am going to have to kick some sense into you. So the river has some ducks around Louisville ayy. Do these ducks have three webbed feet and one eye? Hey you might try the yellowbank WMA they have a waterfowl area. Me and Mastin are going to do some bow hunting come season, we might check out the waterfowl area. Its only about 45 mintues from here, south west on the river.

Fountain boat....I don't know whats come over you

    Scott,

I barely know you, and only from the board, and even I know there is no concern, you'll be in the Ranger. Tell you what, if you want to work your way up to it, I'm expecting to have my Triton Trailer repaired, and we might work something out to have you in a 2002 Triton TR21... Mostly White... Blue insert error "<", and red pin stripes. Powered by a 2002 Merc Opti 225, with only about 110 hours on it.

Why am I selling now that I am getting it fixed? I too want a Ranger LMAO!!!!

Hey speaking of duck hunting on the river... a few years ago I was fishing a tournament on the Smithland pool. I was rapidly approaching a great island fishing area, when to my surprise two hunters came out from under their blinds with shotguns to shoulders. Only took one shot to convince me to find somewhere else to fish!! LMAO

    Danny,

Surely those hunters weren't aiming at you! Ha ha ha!!!

I see the Ranger bug has you too!! After talking with several pros at the FLW event on KY Lake back in May, it seemed as if all the pros had their previous year's boat for sale, at very reasonable prices. Might buy one of those when they come back to town.

I did the Ranger/E-Tec "Greater Than Test Drive" and absolutely fell in love with the Z-20 and Z-21 saddled up with a 225 E-Tec !!! The Ranger prostaff members through Jet-A-Marina each had their boat on site for test drives. Mr. Dillon had a Z-21 decked out in a beautiful Louisville red, which should be for sale now. It was awesome! Anyhow, Ranger has the highest customer satisfaction and I can see why!

I've owned a Skeeter, Nitro, and now a Triton Bass boat...Never been so pleased in a boat before as I have in my Triton...I just can't seem to understand why anyone would buy a Ranger Bass Boat for the extra cost that they ( Rangers ) cost. I've ridden in lots of Rangers during my Tournament days on the water and by far they ( Ranger Boats ) had to be the worst riding boats on the market in my opinion... But I know it is only my opinion and everyone has theirs.

Triton is a good solid boat, built for speed, but not so much for comfort. Trust me, as a co-angler on the BFL for three years, I have a pretty good idea which boat rides the best! On another note, any boat will ride rough when the driver is an idiot!

Let me say this, I love my Triton too. But I have chronicled most of my trailer problems here, but not all of them, nor everything that was said to me by people working for different companies. That is why my next boat won't be a Triton. I'll leave it at this, I think the company has changes since Brunswick purchased them. I think their boats are probably still top notch, but I was told by the Triton company that the new "X" series boat is not as fast as the original model.

    Tight lines and God Bless
