Barkley/KY Lakes conditions????

Folks, I am stoked.Slopfishin and I are going out tomorrow for some fishing, hoping for some additional catching too!!

Anyone got any information to share on the water conditions? I mean clarity, temps, current, etc... I know I can find a lot of information on the corps site, but I also know the first hand information is usually better.

Bump. How about somebody helpin us out!!! Believe me, we need all we can get. LOL

You guys, should have helped us. We had a cold day, but it was a great day. I made a new friend, slop is not sloppy at all, no matter what his name may say!!

We got one bite all day, it was about a 15-20lb drum. He got away with my bait too... oh well. Would have gotten the bait back, but I would not bring the fish in the boat. Tried to dehook him in the water... LOL

The water temps ranged from 44.5 all the way to 46... not great. Even though it was supposed to be near 60, being on mid 40 degree water was like being in a cooler...LOL

Water in the upper lake of Barkley was really pretty clear, especially in the canal. However, a little further down the lake, the water was more staind. That's where we got the drum.

Can't wait to try it all again.

Whomever told you that forgot to finish the sentence. I am a very good fisherman, but I am a very poor catcherman. LOL

Based upon my day yesterday, I am not the one to ask for help.

I'd love to get back out there this week, some beautiful weather scheduled, but I can't take a chance on getting hurt or sick with a very important interview coming up.

I wish you a lot of luck with your tournament. When is it exactly? Slopfishin and I were talking about fishing the FOCUS tourney on the 11th, but unless I were able to get out and prefish on Friday the 10th, I don't see it happening.

we might just fish on the 11th and work on the tourney on the 18th.
