Got home late last night from Indianapolis. First time home since I left to do the Lexington boat show. Glad to be home and ready to hit the water early tomorrow. Thanks to all the folks that came by to see me at the Lexington and Indy shows. Good to put a face to so many names I see here. I will resume my weekly fishing reports later this week.

Welcome back Dave. 19 days and counting until my buddy and I hit the water with you. Maybe St Patricks day luck of the irish will bring a 10 lb Bucketmouth and 8 lb Smallie to the boat. That was the only saving grace we had during the cold no fish catching day at Dale Hollow yesterday. We knew in a couple short weeks the Ky trips begin. I will be in touch soon. Elwood

Thanks for the flies....gonna take a little time to throw them this week hopefully I will get enough time to due them justice. They look great!!
Looking forward to the trip Elwood...I am not Irish but I do have a green boat so maybe we will get those monsters.
Welcome back, and glad you made it safely home.
Not sure if you saw the post where slopfishin (kyle) and I fished together this past Friday. Water was cold, 44 degrees most of the day, did find a little 46 degrees, but never up to 47.
We got one bite only. I caught a 15 to 20 lb drum.
Still was a great day as I made a new friend. I sure wish I was going to be out fishing tomorrow too. I am a little wary of fishing alone when the water is this cold.
Anyway, welcome back.
Danny
Dave, good to see you in Indy. You are blessed with a beautiful lake in your back yard that is full of fish, and better yet, full of fisherman that appreciate the service you provide. Wishing you a safe year on the water and a profitable year! Welcome home. See you on the water....

Hi Todd...it was good to see you and meet your family in Indy. I was going to call you to see if you wanted to have dinner but I was so tired most nights that I just went back to the room and crashed. I am pulling for you to win the All American this year....I know you can do it.
Dave, since you've been off the lakes for quite some time, I'll help you eliminate some water for your first trip out: Don't fish the main lake points, main lake drops, mouths of creeks, secondary points, flats near deep water, woody cover or anywhere else submerged under water in Barkley and Kentucky. From my 2 outings this past weekend I have come to the conclusion that the fish have left the lake. You might want to carolina rig the parking lot at Kenlake or, if you're really desperate, try that big tank that have at Bass Pro Shops in Nashville. Hope this report helps. LOL
Good to have you back, Dave.
How about a fishing report from today? How'd it go out there?
