Got at the lake at daylight and right off the bat hooked up with a nice 3-4 pound largemouth up the lake , but this fish won the fight, threw the hook.Pulled the trolling motor up and went down the lake, first cast using what I call the "PanBowlSpecial" ( bait that I make) and landed a little largemouth bass. roughly around 12", then threw in again and hooked another one and it got off. I guess i havent gotten rid of that winter rust yet...lol.. By the way the small fish at pan bowl are looking really good.It wouldnt suprise me any that the fish that i caught was from last years spawn, it was as healthy as can be. That big one wasnt to shabby either. Pan Bowl = Big Bass= Alot of fishing pressure. Best way I Have found to catch them is throw baits that are new or throw something that the fish hasnt seen that much. All of this happened up till 11 and then it started pouring the rain.. it wouldnt let up.. Now it's 3:30 and im at the house and the sun is shining .. MARCH WEATHER!!!! another 3 weeks and fishing will be good.. water temps still low... was getting from 46- 49....
