How will the fishing be at Cumberland this weekend?
I'm betting sloooooooooooooow.
cold and sloooowwww you might have some luck on that float and fly if the water temp is down
Are there any places in the russel springs or jamestown area that sell the flies and floats? If so would someone point me in the direction of what colors and weight work well.
Thanks, Jeff
i dont know who would sell a package but i have a 9 foot fly rod with a large spinning reel with 4 or 6 lb test line then get a 3 way swivel put your line on one end the bobber on the other then a 8 to 12 foot leader with the fly on the end real easy to make some people i know just use a longer spinning reel it all works the flys i used at cumberland were the duck feather with chart and blue on it and make sure to get the trailers they make for it there like 2in fluke or you can cut up your own
Cold Front and a Blue Bird sky Saturday with a North Wind. I say very slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Thanks for the info. If someone could add the best type of jigs and the best weight I would appreciate it. Its good to be able to post on here again. I could not get this computer to work with the firewall I had. Also are there any pro shops around russell springs or the jamestown area that sell these jigs? Thanks
Jeff
The bass pro in Jamestown has a lot o f-n-f equipment.
If yournheading south on 127 that bass pro is in a BP station on the right. Lot of good stuff in there. Black and Blue jig and a Zoom big chunk works for me when they are on it. Crank the points with something that runs 9 to 12 feet deep.
Thanks for all the info I will give report when I get back home. Thanks again for the replys.
Jeff
