    RE: stoner creek

i went today and the ramp at frymans was horrible! thats the first time i had been there so i dont know what its normally like but the ramp was coverd in mud! (truck slips down ramp) then trailer goes like 5 feet in the water and its 4 foot under the water. (got to much trailer stickin out of the water to get it on) so then manage to get the boat close start to pull out and lean the little jon all the way on its side. stuck on the side of the trailer rods tackle fallin in the water!! gass tank cooler all goes in. It was just a wonderful day haha but in the end had a good laugh got all my stuff back! so its all good but deff could use some gravel or something on that ramp!

    aoakley,

Don't give up on Stoner Creek at Frymans. He usually keeps the ramp cleaned off but i'm sure the cold weather has kept him inside.(he is around 85 years old)

The Pond Hoppers tournament circuit holds a tournament there every year and it always turns out to be one of our best as far as the number of fish caught.

I usually have good luck throwing tubes and Bandit 100 series crankbaits. Hope this helps and good luck at Stoner creek.

    Group Effort....

Those of us that fish down there may need to team up and go and lend Mr Fryman a hand. I have a phone # of a fellow that has access to an ole irragation pump that he used last yr to do it by himself. He pays just like the rest of us. Isn't fair for one man to do it all by himself....
