C-land striper night bite?

Anyone been out yet? Won't be long now until the alewive spawn is in full force and the VW beetles start falling out of the sky and landing in the lake!

Got the hooks replaced on the slivers and red-fins - i'm ready for some drag sreamin'

I hear they're planning on keeping the lake maxed out at summer pool this spring so I don't anticipate a great spring for the river this year.... we'll see...

Not quite time yet, but I'm with you, I can't wait!!! It's almost here & weather like today will get it here even faster. My wife will even be glad when the bite starts --- she won't have to listen to me talk about it anymore (for a while)LOL. I've got the hooks replaced, new line, yada,yada,yada. READY TO GO!!!

Yep, I'm ready too. Got a whole bunch of new plugs turned ready and waiting to be destroyed! Agree with Fishincreek, should be able to pick up some at night right now in the creeks. Jigs and slivers.

Talked to some fellows at Bandits Wednesday night and they had been doing pretty good at night.

My son and I could not stand cabin fever any more and took advantage of the warm weather and went last night.we only caught one 10 pounder half way back in creek on a little mac.

Got a report from a buddy who has a friend down all week; they've been doing pretty good - averaging about 4 fish a night. Also just heard from Pro V that a guy posted on another board he got a 9# walleye, 2 20# stripers and 2 30# stripers all in one morning.

One hell of a lake fish picture on the front page of here too!

Looks like the size is coming back!?!

These reports are starting to keep me up at night tossin and turnin...lol.

Fished friday night used red and white slivers caught two 10-12lb fish and had three others on. between 9:30 and 1am. fished lower part of wolf creek. slow during the day but they are starting at night.
