I talked to Jesse and he said there was damage to some homes but nothing on the lake he is aware of.

Heard of an F2 tornado going through Barren County this weekend, anyone know if the lake or any interests to the lake sustained any damage? Certainly hope not, Barren is my home away from home.
PS-I strayed away this weekend to try my hand at Cave Run muskies, and well, I should had just gone to Barren, a lake I at least know. Caught 4 small bass within a 5 minute span crappie fishin, and I was there thursday, friday, saturday. The PMTT was going on while I was down there, out of about 200 boats, only 14 muskies were boated as of sunday afternoon.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-10-06 AT 09:27PM (EST)[p]The tornado touched down in far south east Barren co past the community of Eighty Eight and went through Temple Hill and crossed the Barren / Metcalfe county line on HWY 90. and yes there was alot of damage in that area. Dont think the lake area had much damage.

I live a mile and a half from Temple Hill towards some of the areas that were heavily damaged. We were home listening to tv, and radio when the power went out. From what I have heard I believe the tornado just originated a little out of Temple Hill and went all the way to Summer Shade. There were heavy damage just a half mile to a mile from my house, and the wind really never got up bad at my house and at that time had little to no rain. That was good for me but shows you how dangerous storms can be. The sun was peaking through the clouds and it looked like it was over, that is how misleading it can be. I didn't have a clue what had happened until people called that was worried, and informed me on what had happened all around me. The barn where I keep my pontoon boat about 3/4th of a mile away recieved a little damage. Metal off of roof and a barn door gone that we still have not found. If this had happened in the middle of the night it would of been terrible. We were fortunate no one was killed. I work on Barren and from what I have heard the damage was mostly in this area. The area that was damaged the most is the exact route I take when I go to Dale Hollow. Thanks, for the concern, I for one was very lucky.
I fished a tournament at barren sunday. Didn't see any damage on the lake. The water is still low. Fishing was awesome!!!!! We had six fish that weighed 24.58 lbs. It was a toyota bass club tourament.
