Cedar Creek or Herrington Reports?

Wen't to Bryants last Thursday and caught a couple 1 1/4lb bass. The water was waaaaay down and stained. Temp was 57 to 60 degrees. watch out for the carp they are jumping all over the place.

Took 14+ lbs with 4 fish to win Saturday at Herrington, 7.84 for second and 7.1 for third. Winner also had big fish which was over 7 pounds. I would say it was a tough day for most of us.

Are you talking about the asian carp? I didn't think they were in Herrington.

I went down to herrington on sunday, and that cold day on saturday must have really thrown em' off. I fished a jig all day nothing, tried a crankbait, nothing. the only way that I could get a bite was to take a 1/16 ounce popeye under a float and fish docks real slow. Even then I only got three bites.

I dont know how far down lake but at Kings Mill shes cardboard brown.

NO the big ol 20lb common carp. For some wierd reason they just leap out of the water this time of year. I have seen it alot at Jacobson park as well but there they are pushing 40lbs. It looks like a big dog leaping three feet out of the water.
