Thinking of taking the family to one of these lakes tomorrow for some casual fishing (bobber and bait)for the boys while I toss spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Which lake would be better for simply catching anything? I have fished Barron several times near peninsula, but am wary of the water level making navigation too dicey. Has the water come up to a safer level? I have never fished Nolin but have been to the Wax ramp. Hoping to just give the family something to keep busy with. Any input greatly appreciated.
