I read this in the paper today. Nice coverage buy the Courier Journal. I noticed they had a couple of pictures to go along with the article. That was a nice chunck 4 pounder.

nice article, thanks for the mention of our "trash-talkin" team . Im still waiting on when and where to be put in "my place". Come on guys May 6,7, May 13,14, May 20,21 27, 28, and anytime in june except for june 10th. pick a date, lets do this thing, and make sure your papers get the memo.

Hey Kyle, I'm no part of the "trash-talkin'" part, but on the date for us I will run over with members this Wed. at meeting.
Right now on our schedule for May and June we have 5/6 BFL; 5/7 ABA; 5/13 ABA and FLW on KY Lake(Going to watch!); 5/20 BFL; 5/21 ABA; 5/27 (Memorial Day W/E)...For June 6/3 BFL;6/4 ABA 6/10 L-Rainsin' Qualifier; 6/17 ABA 2day; 6/24 BFL.....

So possible dates for us: 6/11(Sun), 6/18(Sun), 6/25(Sun),
7/8(Sat), 7/22 (Sat)...maybe memorial day weekend but that is an iffy, a lot of people go home then and the lake traffic is usually rough...

I agree with you, the earlier the better, unfortunately we have May & a good part of June booked up. Let me know if a Sunday tournament would be okay with you all. 6/11 or 6/18 looks good to me, but I will have to discuss it with members. Plus how many people would you want to send(2 teams of 2?) so four from each school? Let me know. And have you talked to Murray, EKU, or WKU? Thanks,

I appreciate the help.

I think we should all email Gary Garth on the article and thank him for shedding some much needed light on our sport.

I also think we should ask for a bit of a retraction. The only trash talking between the L-Raisins and the UK club has been one way only, and that directions was from west to east, at least on this board that is the way it has gone.

6/11 is out, one of our better guys is getting married on the 10th and none of us will be in shape to fish on the 11th LMAO but the 18th sounds good. I would like to see 2 teams of 2 if possible, Im sure I can count EKU in but not sure about murray. hey just jokin bout the article, nice read though, just keep those "eyes set on lexington", might learn a thing or two. HAHA

Sounds good man, I will check to see if 6/18 sounds alright with our guys, 2 teams of two will be possible for us. And you try to contact EKU and I'll try to get Murray. Then we'll ALL discuss time,date,loc.,rules, etc.
