The post spawn bite is on. Also, there is a tournament at Star Point Marina on May 13th. Its the Community Bank/Boys Club, first annual tournament. They have a $2,500.00 guranteed first place, $300.00 big fish for biggest smallmouth, $300.00 for biggest largemouth and $300.00 for biggest ky/spotted bass. Enty fee is only $100.00 per boat and flyers will be mailed out to people who have fished the Dale Hollow Classic in the past and will be distributed in Dale Hollow area and southern KY. They have lots of corporate sponsors and will be giving away lots of great door prizes. This will be a very fun tournament to fish. My friend is going to be the tourney director and if any one wants enty forms and information just email me and I can get them mailed to you. Also, if you know a local bait shop or place to leave entry forms I can send several. Fishing should be great on the hollow at this time and we expect 100 to 200 boats.

I want to say thanks again to Plowboy for letting me roll down to Dale Hollow with him for a day of fishing. He invited me down without knowing me and just from my request on this board. It turns out we are related and live just a couple miles from one another. What a coincidence! Now don't tell me that everyone in Ky is related, that's Arkansas ain't it? hehe. Anyway, being a novice fisherman, I gained extensive information about fishing Dale Hollow and the tips he gave me will help me in the future. It's people like Plowboy that make this board what it is.
