the crappie are still running strong a long the river channel in the state park we got in the water by 8 and fished till about dark did very well brought home about 25 fish about 12 inches long. all of the females are still filled with eggs we let them go and was just keepig the ones that seemed like they have already spawned or large males we probly caught 100 or so in all it was a perfect day on the water
