Might have to fish at night to catch them. if it is cloudy just throw a spinnerbait on windy points. will take some effort but you should catch some. Stay down around Mitchell Creek.

Hey just go to any main lake pocket and throw a 5 inch sinko, pearl white and hold on. You can catch alot of fish but don't count on any keepers. Mainly 3-5 pounders around the points and first half of the pockets.
Maybe I should go with ya`ll.Went to Dale today for about three hours and didn`t get but one bite.Maybe the cooler weather have given them lockjaw?!But we did get caught in a hail storm at 50mph!!
thanks for info hope we dont catch the hail and wind ha will post when we get back
You don't have to fish at nite yet....that don't happen til' the first full moon in June.
if you want smallies go early and late and use spinners, cranks and topwater lures at dawn and dusk.
The best way to keep them happy is to fish for the redear sunfish and gills are really going right now and will continue til' June.
Catfishing is also exceptional and walleye can be found around the islands trolling.
Good Luck:)
Hey sprint, did you catch anything?
Go to the smalljaw website. He just updated it for smallmouth. http://www.smalljaw.com/
