    Bank Fishing for Smallmouth

    DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A DECENT BANK FISHING SITE WHERE I MIGHT BE AABLE TO CATCH SMALLMOUTH? ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

    Depending on where you are there are several streams you could wade.

    I LIVE IN BULLIT COUNTY. I HAVE BEEN FISHING FAGAN BRANCH LAKE IN LEBANON, BUT HAVENT HAD MUCH LUCK WITH THE SMALLMOUTH THERE. THEY DONT REALLY HAVE A BIG POPULATION OF SMALLMOUTH.

    I live in Bullitt Co. also. Floyd's Fork has smallmouth. Try wading at the Hwy 31E bridge north of Mt. Washington.

    DOES ALL OF FLOYDS FORK HOLD SMALLMOUTH? I HAVE A FREIND WHO LIVES ON FLOYDS FORK WITH GOOD ACESS TO THE WATER. I HAVE A BOAT AND USUALY FISH DALE HOLLOW,OR CUMBERLAND, BUT IT IS OUT OF COMISSION FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR (NEED A NEW MOTOR)

    I mainly fish Cumberland for smallmouth, but due to a down trolling moter I haven't been out lately. I have heard the mud flats and mud banks have been the ticket. Though with the water levels changing it has been slow. Also a tourny out of Conley Bottum was won by fising the backs of creeks (around 17 lbs of fish).
