What are some good baits to use at night for smallmouth and striper when the shad are blowing up? Any help would be apreciated...

    RE: Cumberland Night Baits

Smallmouth - Main Lake points, 1/8 oz Bitsy Bug jig with Zoom Swimming Chunk trailer, Black and Blue and Green Pumpkin. Short arm spinnerbait, Stan Sloan, Black and Blue, Black and Red, Black and Purple, slow roll across the bottom on points or lift and drop technique. May even try a Texas Rigged Tube in same area.

Stripers - Bluff walls, Cotton Cordell Red Fins or Slivers paralleled the bluffs.

Good Luck Hope it helps and catch a few for me

    RE: Cumberland Night Baits

It seems that the fish are turning on around 2am to first light. There was alot of activity happening then this past weekend, and I here that most fish are being caught at this time. Has anyone else noticed this?
