Fri. nite stripers.

apb proved himself to be "da man" by nabbing a 36 incher on one of his homemade sub-surface baits. Fished mainlake cuts of the mainlake. Shad not really up very well and sporadic surface activity, but stripers were there, albeit quiet. Walleyes preferred to hit surface baits(and preferred to let go of them as well). Bite semmed best 3-4. Mainlake debris was TERRIBLE!

Guess I just had a good guide!! Weird how we were getting hits subsurface and not having any indication that stripers were in the area. Each had one hit/hooked on a topwater, but lost it. Everything else was subsurface.
