i done pretty good this past weekend at wilgreen, boated ten six keepers, one 15inch,fished about six hours, but your right Mustang way to much presure down their.happy huntin
Wilgreen is horrible right now. Tournaments are not taking much at all to win. Last year in the tournaments there were many more keepers brought in than this year. Its going down hill fast....
We can't let a good fishery go down like that. If there is a considerable drop in bass catches, maybe we can find out what the wildlife folks plan to do about it. I'm sure they would be on top of things, but in the mean time, what would be a few immediate cures that would help the least bit?
Anybody know what the effects were that caused this depletage?
Let it all out and let's discuss this if need be.
After looking at the lake, it seems that too much harvesting would come quickly. At max depths of around 48 ft, most pressured bass will stay close to that as long as adequate food is available. If no one is haveing luck lately, start all over with the lake, and adapt to the "new" patterns. If there is indeed a shortage of bass, check the last shocking data and find out when the next one will be, good luck.
