Was in Dicks Sporting Goods this evening in Evansville Indiana and they have an endcap FULL of Chatterbaits. Must have been a couple hundred of them all for $5.99. I have never used one and did not buy one tonight either. For all those wanting them they have plenty. They do have Quantum Inferno Spinning Reels and Baitcasters for $49, marked down from $99. I bought the Baitcaster a couple of weeks ago and I was impressed. Good Shopping.

dicks in clarksville, indiana had plenty yesterday too
Those smart enough to cash in on the fad were just that - smart.
I say in several months there will be more chatterbait knock-offs than senko knockoffs!
Hey, BTW, I've got this home-made lure I used the other day - caught 40 pounds of bass in 5 fish at Patoka. VanDam is going to break it out down at KY Lake soon. I've got several made up at only $15.99 per.
It won't be long before they'll be marking them down to move them off the shelves. Bass Pro Shop on line has the Gambler knockoff that looks identical and $1 cheaper. I'll say one thing for them. Catfish love them.........
Look close at the Gambler version. It is not the same and the action is very different. How the blade is shaped and connected to the jig is different.
The chatterbait blade has a slight bend . I have made up about 20 using the Netcraft blade, which I put a bend in, and checked them in the pool and I can't tell the difference.
