I haven't been down there in about two weeks. We too put in at conley bottoms and went up to faubush creek. The water was up pretty good and we were catching fish in the roots of flooded trees on watermelon jigs. Mostly spots and nothing to really brag about. This time of year is pretty good for fishing those long points,there are several in faubush that are covered with brush and usually hold some pretty good fish. If that don't work the deep shale banks are usually good with a black or red spinner bait and have done well with a black and blue baby brushhog.Hope this helps, let us know how you did.
