Went to the lake for the first time in a few weeks and when I went to turn my unit on nothing happened. I checked connections and fuses while on the water but nothing. I checked the volts at the plug after I got home thinking maybe corrosion in the fuse holder was the problem but I have the full 12 volts at the plug. You can see the unit flash when you hit the power button but it won't come on. Unfortunately the unit went out of warranty a few months ago and I've NEVER had a single problem before now. I plan on calling Lowrance for suggestions or to return it for repairs.
Has anyone else had similar problems?? Thanks for the help.

Had the same problem with an Eagle and it was water also. Push the power button and it would blip on and immediately go off.
Water should not be an issue. The unit worked fine the last time out which was 3 weeks ago. I turned the unit off when I put the boat on the trailer and it has been stored in my garage since. Now it won't even come on. My unit is mounted on a RAM mount so vibration is limited. I don't hear any loose parts in the unit if it is shaken. I'm calling Lowrance today to find out about repairing it.
I'll get you an email address to contact in a few, Linda is the bomb...
