I like to fish in this cooler weather pattern in the dead of summer.
Think about it.

I may have a bit of time to fish tonight (Thursday), but I'm wondering if there's any point with the cooler weather after the front moved through yesterday. Any quick opinions?
I'll probably head to Cedar Creek if I do go, since it doesn't seem to be affected as much with flooding, etc.

That makes my head hurt.
It will be "cool" to fish for a change but the evening topwater should be a doozy. Cool misty fog and warmwater...good combo.

I only was out there for about an hour. Threw topwater the whole time. I only caught one short bass and didn't have many strikes. I did see a guy catch 2 decent catfish. I guess I should have been chasing those.
Just came in from Cedar, had 24 bass but that was 10hrs of fishing.
ya go the coldfronts do not affect the fish this time of year especially if you are fishing deep
