This thing about the fnf, is not new. We used something like it to fish for crappies many years ago, just wasn't any special equitment needed. 20 years ago we used to put a white marabo jig with a little tinsel, under a float and fish the hot water discharges on Lake Michigan, this wasn't for crappies, it was for salmon and trout, and it worked very well.I used a 13 ft noodle rod and four pound test line, and many trout over 5 pounds fell prey to this method.
