Now that I have about wrapped up my hunting season, I'm ready to get back on the water and fish. I have been hearing great reports of anglers having great success fishing by the hydoplant and next to the gates. I have been there several times and had no luck. My focus is on both sauger and hybrids/stripers. Can anyone offer some advice that may help be a bit more productive while fishing this area on the river? Any and all help would be greatly appreaciated.
Thanks

Fish next to the current on the bottom with jigs. Anywhere from 5 - 15 feet deep for sauger.
River is rising so that fishing will be gone for a while after today.

try fishing above the dam in the louisville pool, the largemouth and smallmouth bite is on pretty good right now. there is a tournament that goes out of cox's park on sunday mornings if you looking for some competition/ or maybe win some extra cash.
Hey Lowerider, I got his e-mail today and i answered him. Thanks for thinking of me. I`ll show him around and a few of my honey holes, but it`ll cost him half his winnings....LOL
Thanks

Hey onemorecast I,d be interested. Ive fished there several times and would like some pointers and or some action. I live 20 min. away and can go about any time . And I,m a good first mate since I own my own tracker deep V. I,ve caught some stripers there and smallies at silvercreek.
