    Wizard, Thanks for the Spellcheck

Hey, Wizard, thank you very much for the site to install a SPELLCHECK that will work when I am drafting posts on Fishin.com and any place else where I am typing for that matter. I am using it now and so far it works fine. Now all I have to do is to remember to turn the sound on when I want to type something--I usually keep it muted.

For anyone else that may want to install it, the url is below:

This was brought to us compliment of Wizard, thanks again.

    It works great,

    Grumpy

For people who don't want to install (or don't know how), you can always compose your post in Microsoft Word, run spellcheck there, and then cut and paste into your message at Fishin.com

Danny made that same suggestion in the previous post that started this whole thing about Spellcheck and you are correct, that is a good way of doing it. And, as I told Danny, I do exactly that sometimes when I want to make a long and/or involved post but for short posts on Fishin.com or other boards the cut and paste is more trouble than it's worth I don't mind if you know that I can't spell--because I can't. If anything is worse than my spelling it's my typing. Either way, the program Wizard recommended will work for me.

I am very leery about installing new programs/downloads from the Internet onto my computer. However, since Wizard recommended it and said he had been using it without a problem, I figured it was safe.

The program has been working while I typed this and it is great. And, by the way, it was very easy to download and install.

RE: Wizard, Thanks for the Spellcheck

Even with most spellcheck programs installed, you can get away with using the wrong spelling of a word. For instance: "You're" is the short form of you are but many tmes you will see that people type "your" instead. To, too, and two or bare and bear are some more commonly switched words. Most spellcheckers can't proofread(take into consideration the context in which the word is used), they just check for the correct spelling of a word, whether the word is used properly or not. So for those of you that like to see our typos and mistakes and just plain red-neckedness don't fret, there'll still be plenty of that. I'm sure I've put plenty on here myself and will continue to do so. If we were all perfect, this old world would be a dull, boring place. CJ
