Is that close to Connley Bottom?

I am going to Cumberland Thursday morning to chase the Stripers. Does anyone know if the Lilly Creek ramp is useable. I have bought a couple Umbrella Rigs and want to try them out. I plan on fishing Lilly Creek out to the main lake and then going to Beaver Creek. Any information will be appreciated.
Is that close to Connley Bottom?
There has been alot of problems there with vandalism and theft, if I was you I wouldn't use that little ramp. Go to Jamestown or Pumpkin creek, state dock, that will split the middle for you for Lilly and then Beaver, just my suggestion.
>Is that close to Connley Bottom?
Lilly creek is not even close to Conley bottom. Conley is way up lake from Lilly creek.
Great advice mhall...thanks for sharing what you know regarding theft and vandalism at Lilly Creek...It's because of information like your's that's provided by the great members of this website that I keep coming back no matter how long I stay away in between sometimes...

Yes I use to put in at Pleasant Hill alot and still do on a rare occassion. Not a bad little ramp especially in the middle of the week. Because it's a one lane ramp the parking and congestion on the weekend can get a little on the crazy side, pick your times when you use that ramp and you will be fine there. Tightlines and report when you get back, Mark.
Thanks for the info. It has been several years since I used the Lilly Creek ramp and I won't use it any more. The only other ramps I have used are the ones at Jamestown and the State Park. Can you give directions to Pumpkin Creek and Plesant Hill?
Lilly Creek isn't bad for vandalism in the day time. I did have a window busted out there last year and my vehicle spray painted. I have talked to our magistrate about a light down there, he said he would check on it. However, the island at the ramp is now out of the water and you can park there instead of going up the hill and parking in the lot. Late summer fall and winter, that is the only place I park! Pleasent Hill isn't bad, but I hate the parking situation!

Pumpkin Creek, stay on 127 south and go to the right of the monument in Jamestown keep going until you see the entrance to the State Park it will be on your left you can't miss it. Follow the signs from there to the ramp and you are ready. That is also state run so you don't have to pay to launch. Going to Pleasant Hill go down 127 until you get to the four way stop just past Russell Springs there will be a Arbys on your left corner and The Cumberland Lodge Hotel right beside that. Take a left that is highway 619 this will take you to Pleasant Hill, there is even a sign there promting you where to turn. When approaching the ramp be wary of that hill it's a dude and some people travel to fast coming up and down that narrow son of a gun.
