Help with accommodations around the Jamestown area!

Thinking about fishing for smallmouth at night over the next two weeks. I know there was a motel on the way as you drive towards the dam. Does anyone have a name and phone number. If you know of other places to stay please let me know. Names and phone numbers would be a great help. Has anyone been fishing for smallmouth at night lately?

They want around a 100 dollars a night. Looking for something a lot less expensive. There used to be one that advertised on this website. It may have been called the jamestown inn or motel. Is it still in business or does anyone else have a motel at a "reasonable" rate?

Go to Bandits on the way to Jamestown dock I think it's still open Dennis was trying hard to sell it. Great little place, reasonable and catered to the fisherman. The phone number was and hopefully still is (270)-343-3314.

Bandits was sold this past spring. I think the hotel he is thinking of is the Lake Cumberland Inn. I've never stayed there, but have seen it on my way to Halcomb's Landing. Still open as far as I know.

Hey Andrew, I've stayed at that place a couple of times it's o.k. but high for what it is. Man I hate to hear Dennis sold Bandits that was a cool little place and was run first rate in my opinion. Hope to see you tomorrow, Billy is suppose to call me today and tell me the meeting info, take care, Mark.

There is a place called Pinehurst on the right going out of Jamestown. Perfect place for fisherman with reasonable prices.

Second the motion on Pinehurst. It ain't the Ritz-Carlton, but it works just fine. Plenty of trailer room.

    Lots of great memories there.
