It is sad to hear that there was a fish kill on that lake. I for one hoped that lake would be another spot for big walleyes. As I understand the situation the bigger walleyes died because the water temp was too hot at the depth that they could get sufficient oxygen. my question? Would the river strain walleye native to the rockcastle river and the ones that are assumed to be from the cumberland drainage have been able to withstand the increase temps? Prior to lake cumberland the river had very low times in hot weather and the walleye survived in hot water from where they came from. Just a question?
