    Scales stolen at Green Sunday

We had a set of scales stolen at the green river area 1 boat ramp. between noon and 3:30. If any one mysteriosly has scales that never had then before or suddenly has some for sale, they were Equalizer used grey scales in a black plastic case.
It is sorry when every thing has to be bolted down. These guys are as bad as the cheaters in my book. If anyone saw anything call the law.

Check your email. Need to send a check to Equalizer for another scale. No discussion or vote necessary, we got to have it. This one's coming out of your salary...
Or better yet, I think you should go undercover and stake out the Area 1 parking lot overnight this Saturday. Go all the way in the back and be sure to dress so you'll blend in without causing suspicion. (There's a mental picture I'm too skeered to open.) Come on man, you gotta take 'one' for the team...gotta bend over backward to make this right...go that extra few inches for the boys...swallow the bitter pill...I could go on like this a while, but I gotta quit it's killing me.

I guess it will come out of my salary :-( I called the sheriffs office in taylor and adair county and reported it. I also got the check ready to go out tommorrow for the new ones. This whole thing just stinks. i wish someone would just say they found them and return them.

    What Ramp were you at.
We need to start keeping track ourselves of where this kind of thing is happening so we can track it and warn other Fishin.com users and tournament fishermen.

    Hey Rodney....

Dude, would you please do me a favor?

I've been thinking about starting a little four or five hour tournament on the green river out of Central City next year, and I need some scales. So could you let me know where your next tournament is, and where you will have them hidden? New ones will be much better than this old set I just came into possession of!! LOL

Seriously ... rodney... someone should cut the you know what off the guys that did this. You are right, it is a shame when you have to worry about locking every single thing up.

I know when I used to stay at hotels for a tournament, and my boat cover would be all wet in the morning from the dew, yet I still had to store it in my locked truck, afraid someone would steal it out of the bed.

    It's a dang shame.

As for DH and his advice.... you know, he is a great team member, club member and a good friend. I'm sure he will be more than willing to help out in taking one for the club!!! LOL... I'm thinking about that "slump buster" bit on the Bob and Tom Show.

I hope you guys get your new ones in time for the next tourney.

    Tight lines and God Bless

    Danny

I have a set of Equalizer scales that are in excellent shape but they weigh in pounds and ounces.

that #### you can't leave anything in sight anymore, maybe some of the yearly regular club members would pitch in a little to help with the cost..call equalizer that is where we got ours, were reworked used ones but alot cheaper.
