KY/Barkley Fall transition

Going to fish KY lake this weekend. Has anyone noticed a defined transition to shallow water this week. I fished KY lake 2 weeks ago and I don't think the transition had really started.Being a bank beater Fall is my time of year on the big lakes. Love flipping and pitching those shallow water docks and matted grass.

It has started...just like I said in my report last week. More and more shad moving shallow every day this week.

Thanks Dave. Watching the weather this morning it looks like weather will not be the best. Calling for very windy and rainy conditions but I am going to give it a shot anyway.

If the winds blowing and raining, get out the spinnerbaits and slow roll it. Look for wind blown points and banks, the bait fish should get pushed up on these. The bass shouldnt be far behind.
