It is official!! We will be moving forward with the 2007 tournament!! We have set tentative dates for June 1,2,3 and a back up date (due to river conditions) for June 15,16,17. We are trying not to interfere with what's already on the calendar so I NEED feed back on these dates. We are starting now and need to get our printed material to the press!!
Let me know!!

Linda,
Call me, we'd like to have a more active part in next years tourny. We spoke on the phone when I heard about your tourny a week prior.

Linda,
The dates look great.
Dannny and I will be there for all 3 days to defend our CROWN.
We invite everyone to come enjoy this tournament. It's a very well run event with great sponsors and the payout is unbelievable for
an amateur tournament. Hourly bonus' for the big bass at each weigh station and $$$$$$$BIG CASH$$$$$$$ for the biggest Bass weighed in over the 3 days. I'm sure other official details will be posted in the future and they will have fliers at boat shows this winter.
Thanks Linda for bringing such a great opportunity for the anglers on the mighty Ohio river.
If you need anything give me a call.
Kevin
I know it's a looooonngg way off, but more than likely I'd only be able to fish 2 day. However, I see the tourney is a 3 day affair. Seeing as how this is a big fish tournament, is it within the rules to only fish 2 days?
One more thing...seeing all the publicity you guys got AFTER the tournament was over, I would say next year you'll have twice, maybe three times, as many competitors. I know I'd sure like to try it.
The beauty of this tournament is that you can fish any of the 3 days. We are hoping to get the number of fishermen that we had planned for in the '06 tourney. Because we have proven that we can run a tournament with the utmost integrity and execusion and that we will pay what we guarantee, we feel like we now have credibility within the fishing community. I'm so glad we accomplished that with '06. We are already hearing from fishermen who did not participate last year---that's exciting!!! I hope we see everyone there--even if you can only fish one day, we still want to see you! Remember, Kevin and Danny only fished one day and they won in '06!!!
Ol' Danny is still grinning from ear to ear about his win. I ran into him a few weeks ago (I fish with his brother alot) at KY Lake and he was excited as heck about it.
Kevin,
You're absolutely correct--we will be posting the details soon and we will be at the shows. I tried to call you the other day, but I didn't leave a message. I do need to speak with you, but I left your number at work. Call me---502-550-6728? I do need a favor.
Tomorrow I'll be working Donnie Keeton's tourney out of Tanner's Creek and I will have my phone with me all day if you can't reach me today. Thanks!!
Hey, I noticed in one of your other posts you mentioned chatterbaits. Does that mean you are no longer interested in the ones you had me pick up for you? I offerred to mail them to you ... but you held off... let me know... I'm putting them in my tackle box very soon, or I'm selling them off.
I've got about $50 worth for you... let me know if you still want them, if not, I'll either keep them or sell them to someone else.
Thanks,
Tight lines and God Bless
Danny
After speaking with Donnie Keeton (KBF Pres.), it seems that June 1,2,3 won't work. So does anyone know why June 8,9,10 wouldn't work?
Linda Hill
Linda,
You better get Donnie to recheck his dates. According to the KBF website, they are hosting a Regional Qualifier out of Carrolton on June 10th. So, I wouldn't hardly think the first dates you had would be a problem.
