Hello everyone. I posted a few weeks ago about an upcoming
trip my father and I are making to Lake Cumberland Oct. 30-Nov.2. Thanks to everyone who replied. What I'd like to do now
is solicit the help of anyone who can provide me with every info.
imaginable. Seasonal patterns, depth, bait/lures, where to fish
colors....etc. If you have fishing knowledge of Lake Cumberland I'd
love to "pick your brain" on all this info. Id like to receive
"up to the minute" reports/info. from people and will give my e-mail at the end of this posting so it may be more convenient if you would like to e-mail me. Please, I cannot receive too much info. on where to fish and what baits to use. I'm a so called "rookie" on Cumberland fishing (only been 3 times now) and we (dad & I) need all the help we can get and I'd like to make this a very memorable trip. We are fishing with Lance of Sasser's Guide Servie for the stripers....but we are also taking his boat so we can do a bit of fishing on our own as well. We'd like to fish for Smallmouth and Walleye (but will even panfish for Crappie and 'Gills if the bite is right). I just need to know where to fish for what species and I need major help on choice of baits for that species of fish. I know....I'm asking alot
and I realize that but I'm also very desperate to fish this lake and I am commited to learning this lake so we can fish it more.....I'd like to start taking the family to Cumberland instead of Lake Erie now for fishing fun. I really love the Lake Cumberland region and just want to be able to put a few fish in the boat.
Please send (post here or e-mail me) any and all info. Don't worry if the "thread" gets too long...I swear I read every post concerning fishing Cumberland. Please be very specific on lures (brand names and colors). Thanks for all the help. You guys are great! God Bless.
INDY.
