Barren River

I am heading to the state resort park at Barren River this weekend and have never been there before. Does anyone have any general information on where to fish for bass and what baits I should try this time of year?

spinnerbaits and traps in the shallow bays and flats with isolated wood. look for abundances of shad and if possible look for the larger shad (3") or so. good luck
