Took a friend and his uncle out yesterday for about four hours. Didn't get started until 11am. Water temp was 60 degrees. Caught 3 fish right off the bat, 1 was around 3lbs. Caught about 15 more over the next few hours and had a lot of fun. Only three of the fish all day were keepers. Two of them were on spinnerbait the rest were on cranks.

Basslure,
Not sure if this will help but i went fishing today at a lake in Lexington this afternoon with the water temp around 51-53 degrees. All the fish i caught were in 3 ft or less on tubes and jigs around wood. I fished the sunny banks and the fish were very active. Good luck. :-)
THANKS FOR THE INFO DJD, HOPEFULLY ILL GET TO GO SUNDAY.MAY EVEN FISH FOR SOME CRAPPIE. I HOPE THIS COOL WEATHER AND RAIN DOESNT SEND THEM TWOARDS DEEPER WATER. NEVERS HURTS TOO TRY, ANY DAY ON THE LAKE IS A GOOD ONE IMO, BESIDES THERE PROBABLY WONT BE TO MANY PEOPLE ON THE LAKE SHOULD BE RELAXING ANYHOW.
Actually we just fished from settler's to the dam. All the fish were in 2 to 6 feet of water.
