Billy took more pictures than me today, but here's my only contribution. DJD and his first FNF fish:

We had a big time on Stoner today...DJD and myself, Billy and BanditMan, BiggW and Wormin...saw Fishunter along the way too.
The flow was good, water temps in the 45-48 range depending on who was reading it. Digging in the livewell, the water felt more like -45. Clarity was a lot clearer than I expected.
Everyone caught fish. Billy was a bass vacuum with the deadlined hair jig and BanditMan was right there too. He caught his first FNF fish today I think. BiggW and Wormin had a fish on everytime we came near them. DJD stayed busy with a jig and paca, then got on the deadlined hair jig trick...then busted his first FNF fish under the bobber, which turned out to be a mighty fine little smallmouth. I'd say he's hooked now. Ole Splitshot here never could get in the groove today, but did manage some fish...once I lost all 347 hair jigs in my boat trying to deadline, pitching regular jigs put me on some fish too.
A great day on the old creek.
Then UK beat the Dawgs on the way home and made it even sweeter...except for that one feller in our party who's a Georgia fan...right Don? haha
Good seeing everybody.

Wow what a nice day on the water, it was beautiful out there. I really appreciate the trip Brian, the first FNF fish was way to cool. You called that fish huh? I started thinking maybe you could have called a few more for me...lol That was fun watching that float go down. Speaking of going down i need to remember to watch the muddy banks!!!
Thanks for the baits Billy they worked perfect. That smallie and a host of other largemouth agree with me on that! Could i order a few of those from you? How about a 1/8 oz version?
Now i see why Biggw and Wormin do so well on Cedar those guys can flat out fish, great to meet you guys. Enjoy the baits you won..haha
Hey Marvin great looking boat you got me wanting one now!! Thanks again guys it was a blast lets do it again. Don
:-)
Oh yeah, I did forget to mention DJD doing the butt-scoot-boogie down the bank into the nose of my boat. LMAO! I thought he was going in, but he balanced himself and we got him on deck...muddy...but dry. It must be something about my boat, because he's not the first to do that...
Wow, That was a fun day. My first FNF fish and afew others on a jig and Redneckshadrap putting numbers in the boat deadlining the fly. A bunch of fish caught among 3 boats. Two boats had to leave early leaving BiggW and Wormin down there. I know some better fish are going to fire up, just a matter of time. I had a really good time today guys, and Don way to go on the Brown fish I'm all about getting hold of one or two of those soon... :7

It was a day! I've painted 20 more heads and its tying tonight for me....
Had a good day on the water with Marvin. We have both fished a great deal with a bonehead(someone who moved to SC.) but had never gotten a chance to fish together. Needless to say his his burnt all day.
The mans' a machine with the jig. Of course having 3 uncles, 2 of which had big jigs on both all day, it ain't no wonder.....
We fished 7:30-12:30...It was 28 degrees creek side. Water was up, running good with good stain. A lot of leaves, limbs...ect still flow from the foilage.
Well GW pulled the victory. Measured in one fish at 14.5". Marvin and I had 2 keepers each. Both mine were in the 12-12.5 range. and was awarded.....the prize...
5 F-n-F jigs
1 F-n-F bobber
1 spool of line
Lucky Craft Crank Bait
What Don give him...
However, Wormin said, "Well, you lost enough of my jigs today, we even."...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We them started back fishing around 1:30 and fished until 3:15. I swear I think we caught more fish in that time that we did in our little contest.
Here's a couple of pic;s

Marvins first F-n-F fish...
The fishing was awesome.. And Splitshot was right....
GW and Wormin are fine folks. They were catching fish when we left. Marvin and I caught 34 ourselves and I know they had more than that.
Always good to be around Splitshot. We have a lot of fun on the water.
And good to see Don again. He caught a nice smallmouth....
Same time next week.....
Billy
Guys, I'm planning on going to
Stoner tomorrow. What ramp would you suggest? Thanks for any help and the good report.
w
Same time next week? Crap, how bout I just mail some more winnings to BiggW and Wormin and save the gas money? LOL!!!!!
I may very well be in on that action...I'll put on a wig and one of them pairs of glasses with a fake nose so that I can idle around incognito on Friday night over there and see where he's trying those fish up. LOL!!!!!
Wow guys that was fun stuff,Was nice to put a face with a name and it was good meeting all of you, real stand up guys here everyone. The fish ran smaller after you guys left so we wound up with 17 keepers. It"s a shame that it's not closer for me as I would be on it alot. Never found the big bite but I know they are in there. I am ready for round 2 anytime you guys are ready. GW have done went and bought more of those jigs this mourning so next time I will bring my go getem pole! Just let me know when. Again thanks guys!
I like the idea myself. I hope I can make it if we do it again. :-)
Let's looks at the weather and rain we're getting this week. Water temp may raise a few degrees and speed up a little.......
Hummmmm.......
