Anyone fishing Rough or Guist

Has anyone been out on Rough or Guist recently. Looking for conditions and some reports. Going to burn a precious vacation day this Friday and was wondering where I should go. Any recomendations would be appreciated. Willingto drive 1-2 hours from Louisville.

I would recommend Barren. Never been to Guist but I know first hand that Rough is very slow right now. It's been like that for over a Month.

Do you think that it might turn arroun with the warm weather the next few days? Looking to go somewhere close. Barren might be a little to far. Thanks for your input though.

I don't think Rough is going to get better until they get it closer to winter pool. Last weekend it was still close to summer pool. If you live in louisville Barren will be right at 2 hours for you. Trust me it would be worth it.

I live in e-town and barren it takes me right at an hour to get to barren if that helps. I agree rough won't be good. with that rain that we got it'll go right back up to summer pool and will be really muddy. the rain doesn't effect barren anywhere near as bad.
