I plan on spending a lot of time up in spruce creek this winter. had quite a few brownfish up there and really looks like what I think might be prime fnf. Good luck maybe we will meet on the water.

Really caught some big brown footballs all year at Laurel at night and was wondering if anyone has tried FNF there. I have never tried FNF but plan on getting my feet wet this year and I know Laurel has some "BIG" browns and is closer than Dale for me. If anyone has a few pointers on where is the best places for cold weather fish please let me know!

good luck in spruce creek this year as well in marsh branch and rogers creek. ive not tried the float and fly like i should have. caught some good trout on it though.
I havnt tried Laurel yet but I'm planning on trying to fish up in the cliffs area and the Quaker branch end of the lake. I heard you catch a few trout when trying the FnF there and that thier little teeth nick your line so I'm guessing it will be a hassle retying but worth a 6lb brownfish.
