Cedar Trip 11-14-06

We spent 3-4 hours this afternoon on the lake and caught 7 maybe 8 bass. Surface water temp stayed around 53.5 degrees according to the temp gauge. Crankbaits, jigs and tubes worked for us. The water looked fine to me maybe a little clear by the ramp. Not many boats out there this afternoon which made it nice and peaceful with plenty of sunshine. Good day to be on the water. :-) Anyone else get out today?

hey DJD i wanted to go to cc today--but i had to get the leaves up yuck--did you get any size out of the 8 fish you caught????Glad you got out there today man--me and wormin had fun on the river yesterday-can,t wait to go back take care man---:-)

It sure was nice out there this afternoon.:-) No size on the fish maybe 13 inches for the biggest. We can't seem to get the big bites out there yet but we will keep trying!! So how was the river? Take care and we'll see ya soon on the water, Don

hey there djd, i was out there yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon. two small fish for me on cb. no big bites. i thought the weather and wind were just about perfect.

Was that you in the Dynatrack leaving about dark? My partner and i were leaving at that time from the John Sims Ramp at the dam. We were in the Nitro. I agree the afternoon was awesome and catching a few fish was the bonus. :)

yeah, that was me. i was fishing that road bed. if that was you, i believe you picked up a small one down there on the shallower end. those little ones like that spot for some reason. i couldn't get a bit bite all afternoon. look for me again down there and stop to say hey. i'd do the same, but there's so many nitros on that lake, i'd probably embarrass myself. i met gw that way a few weeks back. i was on that same spot, he comes idling by and yells out "Are you DYNATRAK?" It's great to put names with faces.

Yeah, we caught most of our bass down there at the nursery! (lol)
I was in my partners boat that day. I will look for you the next time i'm down there. Ol' Gw and Wormin are some good guys Splitshot and I fished the Stoner get together a couple weeks back with them. If you can, try and catch the next one with us it's a great time. Take care, Don

Also made it out Tuesday afternoon and caught around 15 with one about 17" and the rest small .... but lots of fun.
