Man, that sounds like a great time! Make sure to post fishing reports. I'll be fishing Dale the very next weekend:-)

There's light at the end of the tunnel....but I will not know for sure until the weekend before.

If I can make it, we will be tying jigs. Trust me fellows I want to make this one bad.Would like to request anyone with a vise to bring it.

We will also be painting jigheads. I'll bring my toaster oven. It'll hold about 40 F-n-F jigs.
Those of you with Powder Paint please bring some. Mostly the colors will be babyblue/chart/wht...red....grey/chart..
Materials...bring craft fur, Blue/BbyBlue/Chart/smoke/grey.
Duck Feathers ...natural, olive, and Chart

For any materials you need you can stop at the Dale Hollow One Stop on the way in. You have to drive right by it to get there coming from Burkesville.

If it works out none of you girls will leave the dock without something YOU have tied yourself. SO I don't want any excuses when it comes your turn to sit down behind the dreaded vise.

Going to try and work out coming down Fri morning maybe fishing the afternoon, fishing Sat and coming home Sun.

That's the plan, let's see how it goes

Hey Trex,

The thread stays at the top because it is pinned by Jim, who is a moderator. Moderators are able to pin threads to the top that are relevant and need to stay at the top. Once this FNF date has passed, I am sure Jim will unpin the thread, and it will begin its regular digression down the board.

Two of us plan on coming to the F-N-F get together on Saturaday. We plan on fishing the tournament in hopes of getting our name in the record book for largest smallmouth on a F-N-F rig. Or maybe not. See all you fellow Smalljaw Fanatics on the water.

I will arrive Friday late afternoon there will be two of us with one boat. We will fish Sat but have to leave Sunday Morning. I also have a vice that I will bring if I don't forget. Looking forward to the get together.

There will be four of us with two boats, getting there Friday evening fishing Saturday and Sunday. You mentioned breakfast on Sunday, are we on our own Saturday? Two in our party are beginners, will there be flies and bobbers at the dock, or will they need to visit the One Stop?

Is there a limit to the number of people overall and do you have to have 2 people? I am new to this area (Owensboro KY) and was already thinking of coming towards dale hollow this weekend for some fishing and to learn the lake. Thanks in advance for any information.

Jason the info is on page two under float and fly get together.
The dates are Dec 9th and 10th with most folks get there on the 8th. I have copied the info on where we are staying.

Welcome to the area and the board. I don't think we have a limit other than accomodations. You do not need two people. Hope you can make it.
