    Room Availability At Horse Creek

There are rooms available at Horse Creek. Thomas has cabins and is filling them up one to a room. IF YOU CAN get together with some other guys it will be better, but do not let that stop you from booking a room. YOU may have to share a cabin, but not a bed.
The Seminars will be held at the Fire Hall at 6PM at the top of the hill since there are too many to fit into the kitchen at the Resort. It has a high cieling and plenty of room for all hands.
It is about a 2 minute drive up the hill to the hall.
PLEASE do not respond to this post.. Simply post on the one above if you have any questions.

    Update From Horse Creek....

    We still have:
    • 2 two-bedroom cabins (2 full-size beds & sleeper sofa),
    • 1 three bedroom cabin (2 fullsize beds, 2 sets of bunks (4 singles), and a sleeper sofa),
    • and 1 big cabin with 4 fullsize beds, 4 single beds, a roll-away bed, and a sleeper sofa.

If you could post that we still have availability and will make deals at $20 per head per night to fill the cabins (or will negotiate prices of cabins for smaller groups), it would be appreciated.

The seminars will be held at the fire hall just above Horse Creek and we are looking forward to a great weekend!

    RE: Tue night, Wed night

Dang shame money is so tight right now. I think I could use the week away. We could meet somewhere and take yours or my boat, either one. I'm getting really envious of all you guys getting to tie your own flies, and do this FNF get together. From the sounds of it, FNF sounds right up my alley.... much like float fishing... just cast out, sit and weight, and enjoy the natural surroundings. Shame it isn't utilized more in the summer... I guess the fish just won't bunch up the same way or coroperate in some other manner.

You guys have fun, and with all the cool weather you should get the lake temps you guys want.

Becareful, and I hope you all comeback with some great tales to tell, and note I said Tales, not tails!! LOL

    Tight lines and God Bless

Elnutsmalljaws and Chunknwind will be there...

Count both of us in for the weekend but don't count us in for breakfast. We will be fishing early until tourney time both days but will be back at Horse Creek in time to check in for the Big Fish tourney. Elnutsmalljaws (ie Elwood or Woody) will be down Monday afternoon staying in Cabin #8 at Horse Creek, Chunknwind (ie Cliff or Netboy) will be down Friday morning to fish the weekend. Looking forward to meeting several of you fellas but looking to hang that first 6 pounder or better of the season even more.

Wish I was going thru Lexington and I would pick it up but that is about 200 miles out of my way. Chunknwind lives in Lexington but he will be down the same day as you.

RE: Room Availability At Horse Creek

Found out that I could come up for the F n F weekend .... I spoke with Thomas this past week and on Sunday; he said hopedfully he'll b e able to put me up somewhere...all else fails, I'll sleep in the truck.... if I can get the batteries replaced on the boat, I'll bring it, if not, I'll hang out.....look forward to meeting the regulars that post on this site..... PS -- don't live that far from Horsecreek, but would rather bunk there for the weekend versus driving back and forth...
