Skiing in December on Taylorsville

Guys am I alone here? I was fishing Taylorsville yesterday and was aggravated by people still skiing this time of year!!!! Does Taylorsville have any restrictions on this? A lot of lakes limit the skiing season to improve fishing. I used to ski myself and would respect fishing boats. Am I alone on this one? Your thoughts please.

My guess is it was an annual event for Winter Skiing and people having fun. I went to one on Saturday at Williamstown in which 25 people water skied and wake boarded in 50 degree water with outside temps in the low 20's. Its an annual event just to have fun. Needless to say I was warm in my dry cloths on the dock.

Did u ever think maybe u was fishin where they wanted to ski. So they was saying those fieherman just aggrevate us. What these guys doin out here fishin in the winter time aint there a season for this. Come on lets all use the water for whatever sport we choose and have fun and get along. If they do get to close to get the boats numbers and call the authorities. I dont ski anylonger due to a foot injury but i still enjoy watchin some of em even while I am fishin.

I have met and talked to a group of men at the lake that do this all winter. They would rather be there in the winter months because of the calm and open water.

I was fishing on Taylorsville with the "Pooh" one cold, cold, new years day with temps in the teens and a couple guys backed a ski boat down the ramp. I just thought maybe they were trying out a boat. Man, was I mistaken..... In just a few minutes after leaving the no-wake these boys started to ski down towards the dam. I figured they were still under the influence or maybe some kind of bet or something..... To each his own!!!!!

we were there yesterday. i would have love to have seen them comin down the lake. we fished van buren. no luck. i fished for blue catfish because a friend was catchin some nice ones last saturday, i was with the folks an some friends this weekend so yesterday i had to get out there. so did you do any good for crappie. well no way u'd catch my butt out there on ski's..
