Dale Hollow this weekend

We'll be fishing Star Point/Sunset Marina areas this weekend. Would like any info on lures/techniques for this area, this time of year. Have been hearing a lot about fnf and jigs. Any advice on colors/size/brand? What about top water crank baits and spinner baits? Thanks in advance for any info anyone can provide!!

JT - I've been digging around trying to find Dale info as well. My buudy and I are fishing out of Star Point Sat and Sun this weekend as well. We'll be in a blue/silver Winner boat.

This is my plan. I guess we'll see if it works out...

I'm taking my FNF gear down but am not going to lean on it all weekend for results. If the cold weather had stayed around I would have fished it 90% of the time. With the warmer temps I plan to fish a natural craw colored jig a whole lot. Will probably focus on 8-25' and do my best to find them. I'll also throw crankbaits and jerkbaits at similar depths. We plan to fish into the evening as well. I'm excited about fishing after dark with a darker colored jig and maybe a colorado spinnerbait.

Any thoughts or opinions about how we're attacking Dale during this super warm December weekend?

I have never been to Dale in December, only in the spring time. The only thing I know to do is to try everything, and see what works. We will be leaving Cincinnati at 2 a.m. on Saturday morning, and we will be in a red/black Triton TR21. We are staying at the Sportsmans Lodge while we are there.

Maybe we can get together and compare fish stories! Hopefully we both have some to share!
