It's all personal preference, IMO. Minnowhead is good and available from Do-It molds. Asprin mold may be little tougher to find, not sure of the weights it comes in. Some use bullet-shaped heads that work. Round ballhead will work just fine, also from Do-It. Just be sure to use the hooks that the mold recommends. You can go up one hook size on the minnow mold, i.e. a #1 in the 1/16 as opposed to the standard #2, but the amount of worthless pours will probably increase also. That's what I've experienced so far.

    Good Luck and Happy Holidays,

With a small file or pocket knife you can increase the size of the hook slot if you will always be pouring with larger hooks. I do this on my molds for striper jigs. Just go slow and check often.
