They must of had so many that it wore them out. Got out on Cedar today, water was 47 degrees and stayed there all day.
Had 6 fish in the boat and missed that many more, very light bite, just when you thought that may be a hit it was gone, Had 2 over 3 with 3lb11 being big fish it had 2 big black patches 1 on the cheek and the other down by it tail. When I pulled up to the ramp on the way home I could see something about half the way up, when I walk over to see what it was, there were 57 dead shad around 2 to 3 inches long that some one had dumped out. I bet they or he had some fish today,C.O. would have love to have caught them.

Not everything that gets wet is pretty, but sometimes it gets pretty wet.

Hate to hear people are using shad in Cedar Creek (if i understand your post). If that's the case....that lake will probably be useless in a few years when it gets over run with shad.

    biggw,

    At least you didn't skunk!!

That spot was a nice find and I figured if you kept pitching it long enough, you'd pull something off there. That spot is officially named: GW-Hole. LOL!

That's a good place to know about for future reference in warmer water though. My lips are zipped. LOL! How much will the rights to that spot cost me? A buck a fish? I fish Wilgreen a time or two throughout the year and will take my tent so that I can camp out on the spot, but I don't want to hear you belly-achin' about how your spot is getting beat to pieces by everybody else! LOL!

    ;-)
