Drowned a few shiners yesterday at C'land. Water clear except way up in the creeks, marked temp. anywhere from 51 to 54.
Spent first part of the day in Greasy with only a couple shorts. Lots of striper fishermen up in there, and plenty of bait.
Tried a few main lake points with no bites on the way to Beaver and Otter, where things improved quite a bit.
May have been the water warmup, or just a late day bite, but caught 3 nice keepers from 3 to dark. One 19.5", one 20" and a 22" fattie.

All came off secondary points within 10 yards of the bank in about 12 feet of water.

Very nice fish. Thanks for sharing.
We fished Friday and Saturday. The fish we caught was on the bottom using gizzard shad. Way up Beaver Creek pass the marina. all the shad were past the marina it seemed.
Nice report, thanks.

Sounds like a good day, John. Thanks for the email and pictures. I hope to catch a few like those on the FNF if the water EVER gets below 50 this winter!!!
