    Ramp at Cumb. state park to close.

    I just read where the ramp at the State park will close for 60 days on Jan 22nd. for road work. Halcombs landing is the next closest ramp.

    Thanks Dave, I usually go to the dam anyway. When the water is this low that Pumpkin creek ramp is rougher than a cobb. If we get the water these forecasters are calling for Cumberland might be full again by this time next week.....

    NWS has a flash flood alert for the area this weekend!
    They have been running the generators 24/7 at the Dam.

    Need more information on where you read this. I have a tournament scheduled for that ramp on Jan 27. If this is confirmed, the ABA, American Bass Anglers Tournament will be moved to Jamestown ramp.

    Trust what Dave is saying he's telling you correct. If the water level is where it is now or below, I strongly suggest you move your launch site even if the ramp is open. Lotta bouncing going on, you'll see what I mean. :P
