    little help on Cumberland

    Fished Sunday for 4 hours without a bite.Tryed from 5ft to 40ft.Tryed a grub bladee bait.and a jerk bait.I can't figure out this darn lake.Mainly fished points an the main lake down by the dam.
    Any helpers.

    I will have to agree with you in that Cumberland is a hard lake to figure out. I have been told that if you find bait fish then you will probably find the fish you're after. I also think a man needs to spend a lot of time on this lake before he can see any real success, sort of have to py your dues so to speak, some here may or may not agree with me but this is my opinion on Cumberland anyway. As for me? I LOVE Cumberland and I'll probably keep on hitting it whether I catch fish or not, eventually I will figure something out on this lake.

    As long as that water is around the high 40s to 50s--get in them creeks an look for those bait fish- things should inprove for you.. gl man :-)

    Cumberland is a difficult lake to figure out but can be amazing when you get onto them. Its all time on water.

    I just find it hard since there is so much depth in the lake,and so muych water to search.I will keep plugging along.My problem is I only have Jan., thru March then back to work.
