The scuttlebut is that the COE will announce Monday that they plan to lower the lake to 680ft for the next year to 18months.
It's at 690ft. now which is normal at this time of year. The Ali. docks #1 and #2 may have the most impact but there will still be plenty of water on the lake.

The good part of that is that it will be tough for the Buckeye Navy to launch their boats! Of course, the down side is the ramps will be one lane and you`ll get stuck behind one those morons who take 30 minutes to prepare before launching. Should be comical as well as aggravating watching some of the things we`ll see at the ramps with the water that low.

Alligator I is actually better off. The ramp there is better. Alligator II has a small, short ramp, close to the docks in winter. Last time I was there I had to 4 wheel it over the curb to get out cause someone blocked the enterance to the ramp. Bad part will be that most ramps will only have one lane open. Be a nightmare in summer.
