Any votes for stocking hybrids on cumberland? They will do much better in the summer with the warm temps, there will likely never be a fish kill with warm temps. There could be many more fish although they will be smaller than the pure striper and more people could catch them. the big gizzard shad issue is not an issue now with the alewives so there is really not a source for big forage for the stripers. The white bass are gone and it would fill a gone fish. Tennesse provides stocking of the pure striper in the river below the dam for trophy stripers that grow bigger than the ones in the lake from our stocked trout, that ever did in the lake. You old board salts know where I am going.
