Im not forsure about a website, but you can call 775-5056 and it gives the readings over the phone.
It gives you updates every 4 hour most of the time and the new forcast at 2pm.from the national weather service. if thats any help!

shepherdsville,i spoke with you on the thread about the falls the other day.i was registered as basslure but when i requested a new password for this board i remembered i registered few years ago as bassking and when i moved to shepherdsville i had lost paper with previous passwords and usernames for several websites.
btw, you think youre old, this will make it worse , i was born when you were a sophmore!! just joking with ya, but it is true.youre only as old as you tell yourself you are.
Though I'm in Louisville, I've never fished the Falls. What type of tackle do ya'll use when fishing there? What type of fish are you after, cats? Also, you have to have a IN license to fish there, right?
Sauger, Stripers, some Smallmouth, Big Catfish and you can use a Kentucky License to fish there. At the right time you can go there and catch fish (carp, drum, gar)every cast with a jig head and Mr. Twister curly tail. It will wear you out, your arm will be sore the next day!!
Cool! Thanks for the info... part of the reason I never went was because I thought you needed an IN fishing license. As close as I live to it, I really ought to go. What time of year do you go? Can you go when it's cold? What size rod/reel/line do ya'll use? (Don't mean to bomb ya'll with questions, just haven't gotten out in a while, too cold to get the boat out - it's not really a fishing boat, more of a recreational boat, but free to use when I want so I can't complain... anyways, haven't been fishin' for a while and need to get some action!)Sauger, Stripers, some Smallmouth, Big Catfish and you can use a Kentucky License to fish there. At the right time you can go there and catch fish (carp, drum, gar)every cast with a jig head and Mr. Twister curly tail. It will wear you out, your arm will be sore the next day!!
I like going down there when the water is low and you can get out on the edge of the rock flats. Seems like you don't hang up as much when the water is lower. I've always caught something down there using just plain old curly tailed jigs or some of those storm rippin' shad swim baits. The rippin' shad swim baits have a treble hook that hangs from the bottom of the lure, which I usually always foul hook a nice cat or two! When that current is rolling and you have a five or six pound cat hung in the tail, it makes for a fun fight! It's awesome!!!

Didn't mean to hijack ya'lls thread either, so I found the above websites that might help with the info you were looking for, I'm not sure. Of course, the phone # works better probably...
So, back to the fishing there, is this time of year a good time to go?![]()
Not with the water being so dang high! To me, it would be a waste of time!
